A Doctor that handles the
yearly checkups, and overall physicals for
individuals and/or family. (Checkups, Mild treatments
for viruses such as flu like symptoms, Strep throat tests,
Cholesterol tests, Thyroid tests , etc.)
There are
two types of physicians, the MD or Medical Doctor
and DO or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. They
diagnose illnesses, and prescribe and administer
treatment for people suffering from injury or
disease.
